工作职责:
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
The Implementation Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end API integrations with airline, OTA, and other travel ecosystem partners, ensuring successful and high-quality go-live delivery throughout the clients in Flight Business in DerbySoft. This role acts as the critical bridge between business and technology, translating partner requirements into clear technical specifications and turning technical constraints into business-friendly communication. This position is expected to drive cross-functional project execution, monitor system performance and data quality, and coordinate issue resolution throughout the partner lifecycle. In addition, the position needs to provide first-hand operational insights to support product optimization and partner success
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
● Integration and Implementation: Lead the end-to-end API integration process with airlines, third-party suppliers, OTAs, and other partners, including requirement clarification, implementation planning, testing coordination, go-live readiness, and post-launch stabilization.
● Project Delivery and Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, Data, AI, and commercial teams to drive implementation projects forward, remove blockers, align timelines, and ensure high-quality delivery within agreed deadlines.
● Client Requirements and Issues Hub: Act as the primary technical point of contact for partners—especially airlines and OTAs—to collect, filter, structure, communicate, and track technical requirements, change requests, and production issues.
● Enablement and Support: Create and continuously optimize product documentation, API guides, user manuals, and user journeys; Deliver customer training, and support the internal commercial team with technical explanations, solution enablement, and implementation-related materials.
● Quality Assurance and Monitoring: Monitor API usage, data quality, error rates, and system stability; Identify operational risks early, and drive the timely investigation and resolution of online issues to ensure smooth partner operations.
● Insights and Feedback: Derive actionable requirements and improvement opportunities from daily operations, partner feedback, integration challenges, and production incidents, and provide first-hand input for product and process optimization.
● Documentation Management: Maintain accurate and well-structured implementation documentation, including integration specifications, testing records, issue logs, change histories, FAQs, and go-live checklists, ensuring documentation is up to date and reusable across projects.
● Participate in training as assigned by the company.
CORE COMPETENCIES
● Responsibility / Ownership: Could demonstrate a strong sense of accountability, proactively drives work forward, and takes ownership of project outcomes, partner experience, and issue resolution.
● Effective Communication: Could act as a “translator” between business and technology—converting ambiguous partner needs into clear technical requirements for development teams, and explaining technical constraints, trade-offs, and timelines in business language to partners.
● Cross-functional Collaboration: Could work efficiently with Product, Engineering, QA, Data, AI, and commercial teams to solve problems, align priorities, and deliver implementation projects successfully.
● Customer Orientation: Could hold a strong partner-facing mindset with high responsiveness and professionalism; Could manage expectations, handling technical questions and complaints patiently, and building long-term trust with external partners.
● Problem-Solving: Could be detail-oriented and analytical, with a logical mindset and a strong “deep-dive” approach to identifying root causes from logs, API responses, system behavior, and user feedback rather than simply relaying symptoms.
● Manage Complexity: Could manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, develop clear implementation plans, coordinate across stakeholders, and maintain quality under tight timelines.
● Situational Adaptability: Could stay focus on delivery and outcomes, while remaining flexible and composed in fast-changing environments, shifting priorities, and complex partner scenarios.
